My daughter loves the "evil" soundtrack. Music for adults only allows me to be, if it is in the car. It also stipulates that the parties were able to sing and sing the parties, but Dad is banished sound effects.
My son is in May, when 10 months, but already has a taste for good music. Not really my choice to convince him to stop crying to some Jay Z and Public Enemy, or sometimes by Red Hot Chili Peppers. I almost put on the iPod shuffle, and is usually the case.
In the home of the big favorites for all age groups are Rock and Roll by Led Zeppelin, Come Out and Play by The Offspring and Smells like teen spirit (sorry for this, by the thumbs down ...) Let's all get drunk today to Afroman. My kids think it's hilarious.

My son and I listen only to the majors songs, mostly classic rock. He loves Aerosmith, The Doobie Brothers and The Eagles. It's fun because it begins to repeat words, and actually singing instead of dancing.

Oh ... I have a song that my husband loves to sing for the children. Cats in the Cradle by Harry Chapin. It's not a great song ~ ~ cats but if you know the song does not. LOL.
My two year old son loves to sing with Billy Joel, Movin Out. Love Party Ack Ack Ack better. They also like the Bertha Butt Boogie. It's an old song, but good. Check it out!
Well, I have no children, BUTTT younger than I was and my mother took me so Gypsies, Fleetwood Mac, we still have, actually. Great instrumental.
