Hello... could anyone offer advice on how to remove the red plastic brake light cover in a 2002 vw Golf ? - how to remove vw golf tail light
I would like to know how to apply to remove the brake / tail light, as at VW's engineers the thing not perfect to the outside, without screws or other fasteners unveiled ... Anyone can advice on dealing with the surgical treatment of the tail light? I'm not forcing things and at the end breaks off a piece of plastic will cost a fortune to replace, but I do well to replace lightbulbs ... Where is the hidden tab / closure that keeps everything in its place? Thank you for any advice!

Look in your trunk to the lights, it should be a cover for the lighting. You may need to remove the carpeting in the region. I think you need to remove a Phillips screwdriver.
If you are still a problem go out to the car or pepboys have are very helpful in such situations.
You will not remove the whole bridge to replace the bulb. You simply remove the lamp behind the carpet for the trap and insert a new one, check with the manual.
